Well known and well positioned motel located on the main road leading into Renmark town centre.

​The motel consists of 25 motel rooms and a very pleasant restaurant with a commercial kitchen. The complex also has a swimming pool to keep the children happy. Upstairs is the manager's quarters consisting of four bedrooms, the main with ensuite large lounge and dining area and a small kitchen. A list of the rooms and styles is available.

 

The restaurant caters for the in-house guests along with the local community. It has a full time chef and is open 6 nights per week and closed on Sundays.

 

It has an excellent internet web page (citrusvalleymotel.com.au) which states "The Motel is close to the main town centre of Renmark, the Murray River, restaurants, fast food outlets and across the road from a skate park and Renmark Square Shopping Centre. The majority of the Motel Rooms are set back from the road, so road noise isn't a problem."

Renmark is a multicultural centre for the Riverland area. It consists of elegant wide streets. The river itself offers excellent spots for fishing, waterskiing and boating.
The area is known for the cultivation of grapes, citrus fruits, tomatoes, vegetables, wheat and wool. Orange trees stretch for hectares as do vineyards and stone fruit orchards. Other industries include almond growing and pistachio nut cultivation.
Renmark is also home to the region's only restored paddle steamer, wine companies and the rose industry. Renmark hosts the Renmark Rose Festival every October.
Renmark contains a new, modern shopping complex, camping grounds, and a 380 metres (420 yd) dirt oval speedway known as the Riverland Speedway.
