Frances is approximately 290 kms from Adelaide and located approximately 2kms from the Victorian border,  41kms from Naracoorte a major regional town and adjoining the border with Victoria. The area is a wealthy farming area. The hotel also catered for the Speed Shearing contest attracting a very large turnout.

 

The spacious Frances Recreation Reserve is the sporting and community hub.  Features include: oval, tennis courts, netball courts, clubrooms, bowls club and War Memorial.

Frances Town Square - a newly-developed shared recreational space in the centre of town for locals and visitors alike. The Town Square features a nature play area, giant water hand pump, gazebo with seating and a table, large lawned area, gardens and five impressive sculptures acknowledging the area’s connection with the Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos.

Motel

It has 3 family units and 8 twins. It also has a guest's laundry, common room and a pergola area with BBQ. This caters for the shearing teams, workers in the area and the traveller. The tariff for the motel is, single $65.00 and a twin $80 per night. The family room with a spa is $130 per night and the other two are $120 per night
 

Hotel

The Hotel consist of an attractive front bar, large dining room, pokies room with 11 machines (currently switched off by the Vendor), a very modern and well-equipped kitchen, large exterior shed with cool room, exterior alfresco area with tables, chairs and umbrellas. It also has a 19.98kw solar system, Keno and Sky along with brand new beer lines and temprites.

 

The owner's accommodation is huge and contains its own kitchen, bathroom, office, large family lounge, and approximately five bedrooms. It has its own bore and ample rainwater tanks. The venue is fully fire rated and compliant. Overall, an extremely well-presented venue.
